2) The return of Stefan Frei

Absolutely no disrespect to Tyler Miller, but the Sounders will feel that little bit more secure on Saturday, with Stefan Frei back in the starting XI. The 29-year old missed the 2-1 defeat to Real Salt Lake, due to an elbow inflammation.

As per soundersfc.com, it stemmed from a chipped bone inside the joint, which created issues late on last week. However, Frei stressed this type of injury is common among goalkeepers and he is now fully recovered.

The return (and importance) of the Sounders 2015 defensive player of the year can’t be stressed enough. He leads all MLS goalkeepers with 44 wins during the last two campaigns, and last year set a club record with 111 saves.
