2) The Seahawks biggest obstacle to returning to the Super Bowl is themselves

Further to the previous point, it’s scary to think how good the Seahawks will be, if and when the likes of Kam Chancellor and Marshawn Lynch return. When they are on their game, virtually no one can live with this team.

In many respects, that’s why Seattle’s main obstacle in returning to the Super Bowl is themselves. The biggest issue they have had this season is a lack of consistency.

Look no further than their games against the Cincinnati Bengals and Carolina Panthers, two of the best teams in the league this year. Both times, the Seahawks were in control and leading, only to let themselves down in the fourth quarter.

The Hawks showed against the Cardinals what they can do when they are fully-focused. If they can remain motivated, the rest of the NFC needs to look out.
