1) The Seahawks are ready for the playoffs

If there were any doubts about the Seahawks mindset after the Rams defeat, they were all but dispelled against the Cardinals. Pure and simple, this team is ready for the postseason.

With hindsight, maybe we should have seen this performance coming. Seattle has been extremely inconsistent this season, often needing to be boxed into a corner before they show what they’re made of.

All week long, it must have been frustrating to hear and read the criticism and doubts emanating from the 23-17 loss to the Rams. It was almost as if everyone had forgotten about the five consecutive wins which proceeded that game.

Regardless, Pete Carroll’s men showed what they were made of, especially impressive when you consider the players who were missing. In that respect, they will be even stronger next week, which should make the Minnesota Vikings extremely nervous.
