You can say “Beast Mode” is the best nickname on the team, but I’ll go with Hausch Money. Not only is his nickname cool, but so is the blood coursing through this man’s veins. Hauschka has been nothing but exemplary since signing with the team in 2012, and he only gets better with age. This season he is an impressive 18 for 19 on field goals, with the only blemish coming on a block at Dallas last week, and has converted all 15 extra points from what is essentially 33-yard field goal distance. Over the last three seasons he has nailed 9 of 11 FG’s from 50+ yards. Hausch Money, indeed.

Though he signed a new contract in 2014 to last three years, he is still only the 11th highest-paid kicker in 2015 and scheduled to be #5 next year – but that’s before any free agent kickers sign new deals this offseason. Arguably having his best season ever so far, he is quite a nice value at a position with greater importance considering the longer XPA and the fact that so many NFL games come down to last few moments of a contest.

It is vital for a team like Seattle that plays a ton of one-score games to have a reliable kicker that can be the difference in tight contests. Do not take this man for granted. He is incredibly valuable and has earned his spot on this list.
