If you’re looking for a game with lots of goals, you’ve come to the right place! Including playoffs, the last five clashes between the Sounders and Timbers have produced 24 goals. (That’s an average of five goals a game folks.)

We shouldn’t be too surprised though, especially when you consider they were two of the top-three scoring teams in the league last season. On top of that, Seattle and Portland conceded 50 and 52 goals respectively during the 2014 campaign.

In fairness, the two defenses have been better so far in 2015, in effect both conceding an average of one goal per game. However, I think it’s safe to say we’re not facing a 0-0 scoreline after 90 minutes on Sunday.
