Seattle Mariners In MLB Network Top 100

#57 Kyle Seager

It was no surprise to Mariners fans, but Kyle Seager burst onto the national scene in 2014 making his first all-star game and winning a Gold Glove.

Seager posted career-bests in batting average (.268), home runs (25), RBI (96), slugging % (.454), OPS (.788), OWAR (5.8) and DWAR (1.7). His average, WAR and home run totals have gone up in every one of his four years as a Mariner.

The M’s rewarded their young superstar with a 7-year, $100 million contract in December.
