Nobody asked John Baker to prove that he was a catcher. Truth be told, Baker himself isn’t quite sure how to accurately convey his profession. His facemask looks more NHL than MLB, and his pose looks like it was lifted from a children’s karate school logo. Which explains why he’s no lock to make the team.
