In reality, the entire Legion of Boom is probably the strongest candidate to take over the game, since that’s what the Seahawks’ defense does. They are conquerors who know no mercy, but if I had to bet on one guy having a game-defining performance I’d put my money on Avril. Why? Sacks, of course! Imagine Avril busting through the line to bring Brady to the ground. Now imagine it happening a few times. Cliff Avril could single-handedly shut down the entire New England attack, and if he does, he should be rewarded justly.
