So you wanna talk about “pedestrian?” You want to see the ultimate story of redemption? Then you probably want a Seahawks wide receiver to be the big story of Super Bowl XLIX. Imagine one of these oft-maligned guys having a career day in the Super Bowl. What would the media have to say about that? What kind of insulting vagueries would they throw at the receiving corps after one of them led his team to the Super Bowl? Because everyone knows you can’t spell “pedestrian” without “MVP.”
