All it takes is one pick. Aaron Rodgers famously avoided Sherm in week one, then had to answer a million questions about it in the week before the NFC Championship game. Rodgers confidently said he wasn’t scared to throw Sherman’s way. Within the first few minutes of the game, Rodgers threw Sherman’s way – and had his throw picked off. Imagine, if you will, that the game’s close going into the final minutes and the Patriots just need one last score to take the lead. Brady fires down the sideline and the ball ends up in Sherman’s hands. The result would probably be an MVP trophy.
