Doug Baldwin Surprises Fans At Local Subway

Seattle Seahawks receiver Doug Baldwin took some time after practice to head down to a local Renton Subway to surprise some fans and promote a new sandwich.

Part of Baldwin’s promoting included making and giving the grilled chicken sandwiches away for free. Fans waited in line for close to an hour for their chance to get their free sub and chat with the guest chef.

After making sandwiches, Baldwin joined the fans in the main area to sign autographs and take pictures.

The highlight of the event for me personally was interviewing him after. There will of course be another story with the details of our conversation coming soon!

The whole event took close to three hours, and Baldwin had a smile on his face for just about all of it.
