Seahawks Vs. Panthers Position-By-Position Preview: Defensive Line

The Seahawks and Panthers both have an above-average pass rush, and star power on the D-line. The difference is Seattle’s ability to stop the run.

The ‘Hawks finished the season second in the NFL in rush defense only allowing 3.2 yards per carry compared to Carolina who gave up 4.5 while playing in a very weak division without a star running back.

Marshawn Lynch should get a minimum of 20-25 carries in this game. He should be fresh and ready to go after a bye week, and only 24 carries combined the previous two weeks.

Advantage: Seahawks
