NFL Power Rankings: Final Regular Season Edition

With the final week of the NFL regular season in the books, here is the final version of our 2014-2015 NFL Power Rankings until after the Super Bowl champion is crowned.

The Seattle Seahawks began the season as the top team in almost every major news outlet’s version of the power rankings. Although the Seahawks had a bumpy road, at one point finding themselves at 3-3 and out of the top ten, they finish the season tied for the best record in the NFL and own the #1 seed in the NFC playoff picture.

Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning, Russell Wilson and Tom Brady each led their teams to identical 12-4 records and all four teams will have a bye during the first round of the NFL playoffs starting on Saturday.

(2-14). Previous: 31st. Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 31. team. 48. The Buccaneers blew a 13-point fourth-quarter lead Sunday to clinch the No. 1 pick in the 2015 draft. The Bucs were 72-2 when leading by 13-plus to start the fourth previously. – ESPN

Blake Bortles in 2014: 3-10 W-L, 11-17 TD-Int and a 21.9 Total QBR. Blaine Gabbert in his rookie year: 4-10 W-L, 12-11 TD-Int and a 19.1 Total QBR. – ESPN. (3-13). Previous: 29th. Jacksonville Jaguars. 30. team. 52

30. Rex Ryan was ultimately done in by his quarterbacks. The Jets ranked 29th with a 35.6 Total QBR during the Ryan era, finishing 30th or worse in each of the last three seasons. – ESPN. (4-12). Previous: 30th. New York Jets. 29. team
