Seahawks Vs. Eagles Position-By-Position Preview:

Defensive Line

The Seahawks D-line has accounted for six sacks the past two games, with KJ Wright recording the seventh. Cliff Avril has three of those six by himself. Also, who the heck is this Demarcus Dobbs guy, and where did he come from? Dobbs was in the backfield all afternoon against San Francisco. ESPN has him listed as a tight end who last played for San Fran.

Trent Cole and Connor Barwin are pass-rush specialists, but listed at OLB in their 3-4 defense, so I won’t include them here. The Eagles are second in the league with 42 sacks, but 30 of them are from players listed at LB or DB. Vinny Curry is the only pass-rushing threat for the Eagles line. They are good against the run (12th in the league), but not as good as the Seahawks (5th).

Advantage: Seahawks
