Carolina is middle of the league in sacks allowed, but that is a skewed statistic due to Cam Newton being the hardest QB in the NFL to bring down. They also are 29th in the NFL in rushing yards per attempt.

While Tom Cable’s group has been the topic of much conversation this year, and not in a good way, the numbers don’t support them being all that bad. The penalties have been unfortunate, but Seattle is first in the NFL by a long shot in yards per rush with 5.4. That is also slightly skewed by Marshawn being the best back in football, but still impressive.
