The Carolina Panthers come into this game with three (and a half?) losses in their past five games. This includes a 37-37 tie with Cincinnati. Carolina has built a reputation for defense with last year’s performance. They had the second-best scoring defense and total defense, both to the Seattle Seahawks of course. Luke Kuechly won the AP Defensive Player of The Year and was second to J.J. Watt in other DPOY awards.

But they are giving up 34.8 ppg over their last five. I hope you’re not in the same boat as me and drafted them pretty early on for your fantasy team.

The problem here is, the Seahawks aren’t doing so hot either.  Two consecutive losses, and the locker room issues caused by Percy Harvin have this team’s playoff chances hanging in the balance. Then throw on some BS racial issues being reported and the ‘Hawks have some serious issues.

With the talent and youth this team has, the only thing that can stop them is themselves. Hopefully Pete and company can bring everyone back on the same page.

But can that happen by Sunday?

Now, onto position comparisons. Here is your Seahawks vs Panthers Preview.

Russell Wilson’s leadership and racial identity are supposedly in question according to some unknown interview by a certain member of the media I won’t mention. My personal take is that this is either complete fabrication or gross exaggeration. Regardless, Wilson is playing the best football he’s ever played. Those last three drives of the St. Louis game are some of the most impressive I have ever seen from a QB.
Cam Newton has thrown an interception in each of the last three games, and is on pace for the lowest yardage and touchdown totals of his career.

Advantage: Seahawks
