Replacing Percy Harvin: Andre Johnson

Andre Johnson is old, but the guy can still play. Johnson had over 1,400 yards last season and is on pace for over 1,100 so far this season.

The Texans are currently 3-3, but most likely don’t have the staying power to keep up with the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC South. Also, DeAndre Hopkins is a talented young receiver, who they may want to get more involved in the offense.

Johnson asked for a trade this offseason as well, and was significantly disgruntled with his situation in Houston. Meaning they might be more willing to give him up, being that he doesn’t want to be there.

The one issue that could arise is money. Johnson is currently due $10.5 million per year over the next three years. But you would have to hope he would be willing to take a pay-cut to join one of the best teams in the NFL, and give himself a chance to get a Super Bowl ring before his career comes to an end.
