Matchup To Take Advantage Of

Marshawn Lynch vs Dallas Front 7

With Adrian Peterson out of the NFL indefinitely, Marshawn Lynch is the best running back in the league. I’m not trying to disrespect everyone else, but in my opinion, it isn’t close. LeSean McCoy and Jamaal Charles are both running backs that need good blocking and open space to be successful and Matt Forte just can’t break tackles or even run in the open field like the Beast can.

Honestly, I can’t give a very detailed scouting report on the Dallas D-line simply because I don’t know who they are. Apparently, Tyrone Crawford went to Boise State a few years ago and has 27 career tackles and no sacks. Nick Hayden has 108 tackles in 7+ seasons with Carolina, Cincinnati and Dallas. Henry Melton and Jeremy Mincey are slightly more recognizable names but neither are guys that scare opposing offensive coordinators. They have given up 5.2 yards per carry so far, 31st in the league. Look for the beast to have a big day.
