The road can be treacherous

This is a road game, obviously. The Seahawks are very comfortable at CenturyLink Field, but every team has some challenges away from the friendly confines of their home stadium.

Now, before we get into another “the Seahawks aren’t the same away from the Clink” discussion, let’s just talk numbers. Last season, the Seahawks were 6-2 on the road. It is fair to argue that plenty of teams would accept that sort of road record.

In 2014 the Seahawks have lost their only road game, but it was a tough loss to the San Diego Chargers that very easily could have gone the other way. Again, the Seahawks should beat Washington but a road game cannot be taken for grant.
