Richard Sherman unleashed
Speaking of something to prove, Richard Sherman will be looking to show the NFL that he is still an elite cornerback. Sherman was in the headlines after the loss as Keenan Allen was quick to suggest that Mr. Sherman is just another player.
Thank you for the bulletin board material, Mr. Allen.
Was Sherman slacking off last week? No. Sherman does better against bigger, more physical receivers, and Allen does not fit that description. Therefore, the Chargers were able to complete some catches in front of Sherman.
But, as noted by Sherman on Twitter, he didn’t give up the big bomb, and that is typically his main concern. Look for Sherman to be very active in this game so that he can have some more positive content for Twitter after this game.
