Losses can be a learning experience. What the Seahawks learned this week is that they have vulnerabilities.
One has to assume that the team already knew that, but an ‘L’ in the standings has a way of bringing deficiencies into focus. Adjustments must be made.
Will the Seahawks now have a massive chip on their shoulder after losing to the Chargers? Not necessarily, but there will be motivation to show the NFL that this franchise is not going to go quietly into the night.
The Seahawks are probably content with being doubted by the NFL. At the same time, Russell Wilson is going to want to show that this squad should not be taken from granted.
