It was a rough day for Seattle Seahawks fans last Sunday. The temperatures in San Diego were unmercifully hot on the field, and Philip Rivers was on fire. Seattle made headlines for all the wrong reasons as the NFL community registered their shock that the ‘Hawks could actually lose.
Truthfully, no one should be that surprised because great teams lose games sometimes. Besides, the Seahawks almost won the game on a last-minute drive, despite being dominated in most statistical categories.
This week, the Seahawks return home and are privileged to host the Denver Broncos, led by Peyton Manning. You remember the Broncos, right? They were that other team at the Super Bowl, the one that didn’t do a whole lot of playing.
Will the Broncos get their revenge by beating the Seahawks on their own turf? In a word, no. The Seahawks are going to bounce back and get another number in the win column. Here are five reasons why.
