The Seahawks aren’t going to make the playoffs

Before the season even began, the “experts” were talking about how hard it is for a team to repeat as Super Bowl champions. First of all, the sample size for this category of teams is so small that any prognostication is laughingly unscientific.

Granted, the same types of people who will turn a myopic anecdote into a universal stereotype will take this tiny sample size and run with it. Such is life.

The bottom line is that the Seahawks are 1-1. There are still 14 games in the regular season and it is possible that they might win a few more before the season is over.

Could the ‘Hawks miss the playoffs? Sure. Anything is possible. However, this is one game and one loss. As mentioned, the Chargers played a virtually perfect game and still almost lost.

You knew this season was not going to be easy. This Seahawks team is still great and it is early in the year.

Worry not, Seahawks fans. Better days ahead.
