Seattle Seahawks News: Different Year, Same Outcome

I only saw one deep play. We have the speed, then why are the Seahawks reticent to heave the ball down field? Are our receivers not getting separation? If ‘separation is in the preparation’ then Seattle needs to prepare a little more.
Even with all of the good that went Seattle’s way here are some encouraging items that we didn’t see last season. For the most part we had excellent QB protection. There was one sack on Mr. Wilson but other than that he had enough time in the pocket to see his pass play.
And don’t forget this was against a very good Green Bay front line, so I think this really says something about Seattle’s offensive line. This means that Justin Britt held his own and what the coaches are saying about James Carpenter might actually be true.
You could see that on the left side with Russell Okung and Carpenter together they could become a formidable duo. If you squint enough you may even see a glimpse of Steve Hutchinson and Walter Jones on the left side…okay maybe I took that one too far.
