The Seattle Seahawks have the privilege of opening the NFL season on Thursday night. Their opponent? The Green Bay Packers, a team that some have picked to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl this season.
Of course, outlets like ESPN have broken out the game from last year and continue to refer to it as “Fail Mary.” Get over it, people. The Seahawks won that game. Deal with it.
Who will win the game in 2014? After all, it is a new year.
Will the Packers get their revenge? Will this game set the tone for a regular season that sees the ‘Hawks decline and the Pack rise to the top of the NFL mountain?
