Russell Wilson: Another level?
The key to another Seahawks Super Bowl appearance? Russell Wilson.
Okay, so a few more players will have to contribute as well, but in the National Football League you need a marquee quarterback. The criteria for the category of “elite” quarterback is a little hazy, but Wilson has certainly proven that he can lead a franchise to victory.
Is there another level to Russell Wilson? Will his performance in 2014 put him in the same perceived company as Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees? Could Wilson become a favorite fantasy football star by putting up consistent 300-yard, multi-TD games? Hard to say.
Throughout the season, the performance of Russell Wilson will be watched closely. He has certainly raised the expectations of fans in Seattle. Now we get to see if Wilson can deliver.
