Build championship squad…win Super Bowl…repeat?
Will the Seahawks repeat?
Frankly, that is the story for this franchise in 2014. Whenever a team wins a championship, people don’t exactly speculate on whether the squad will have a nice, solid season the following year. They want to know if this championship thing is going to become a habit.
The Seahawks won the Super Bowl, and this is still a young franchise. Stars can be found up and down the roster, and the hunger remains. Therefore, the word dynasty has been thrown out a few times.
If the Seahawks get off to a good start, talk of a repeat will heat up very quickly. However, if the ‘Hawks lose a game or two, analysts will quickly conclude how difficult it is to stay on top of the mountain in the NFL.
Back-to-back Super Bowl champs? It could happen. That will be the biggest narrative all season.
