Defense still wins championships
Defense is still the key to winning, particularly in the NFL. Re-signing Michael Bennett was a huge deal for the Seahawks, and locking up the likes of Earl Thomas and Richard Sherman solidify an already loaded defense.
The Seahawks are gifted and still aggressive on the defensive side of the ball. Despite all the hype about flags in the preseason and the blame that has been put on the Seattle, the Seahawks have had very few pass interference or defensive holding calls.
If the Seahawks are going to repeat, they will need to shut down some potent offenses. That is something that the Seahawks do best.
