Pete Carroll and John Schneider have built up a lot of trust with the faithful fans of the Seattle Seahawks. The dynamic duo built a winner almost from scratch, and then brought home the first Lombardi Trophy in franchise history.
Over the last few years, the draft strategy has been unconventional at times. In retrospect, it has been fun to find the good ‘ol draft grades articles and chuckle at those who proclaimed certain Seattle drafts to be a complete failure.
Two words: Russell Wilson.
This brings us to the 2014 NFL draft. Do we dare to predict what will happen in the first round? Will Carroll and Schneider actually match up with the draft experts, or will they prove their worth yet again by making another pick that has the football minds scratching their collective heads?
The offensive line seems to be the most reasonable place to start, but reasonable can be awfully boring.
Sidney Rice is back, but the Seahawks might draft another wide receiver anyway.
Perhaps a tight end to train under Zach Miller and eventually replace him?
A defensive end to replace Chris Clemons?
You may have an idea of which position should be picked in the first round, but take a stab at this particular poll. Who will the Seahawks draft?
