The Seattle Mariners have played 22 games this season, which means that it is time for a poll. Why a poll after 22 games? An excellent question. The best answer is…why not?
We have seen some great pitching from Felix Hernandez, some good hitting from Robinson Cano and a very bad losing streak. In addition, we have seen a lot of injuries to the pitching staff. Hopefully the team is getting the injury bug out of their system.
So, Mariners fans, what do you think now? The hot hitting of spring training is a distant memory and the Mariners have settled into their familiar fourth-place spot in the American League West. The team is hitting .226, which ranks 27th in Major League Baseball. Unfortunately, this is also a familiar position.
Did the eight-game losing streak crush your confidence? Or has the amazing two-game winning streak (both come-from-behind wins) given you new hope?
Without further ado, feel free to answer this poll:
