Now that the 2013 season is over for the Seattle Seahawks, it is getting closer to the time where Pete Carroll and John Schneider do what they do best, which is draft young talent and build championship teams. With that time approaching, the news has been buzzing, and there is plenty about the NFL Combine as of late.

There are the great athletic performances, and then there are all the interesting human-interest stories.

With all the work of looking over the combine results and scouting players, the Seahawks may have had some help making their decision on who they might pick up in the upcoming draft. That help apparently came from God himself.

San Diego State’s star running back Adam Muema left the NFL Combine before he participated in any workouts. According to U-T San Diego he stated that he was “following God” by not participating.

Muema stated that God informed him that if he did not participate in the workouts, Muema would be picked up by, and play for, the Seattle Seahawks. This, apparently, would be Muema’s “dream.” Of course, there are probably a lot of players that would like to play for the Seahawks right now.

Now, if the Seahawks were to pick this kid up, I would welcome it. Muema is listed as the 24th best running back, and he rushed for 1,244 yards and 15 touchdowns last season.

Unfortunately for Muema, his advice from God may not pan out in this particular draft. This is mainly because the Seahawks are stacked at the running back position, and I believe the Seahawks will have no interest in drafting another. But that would make quite the story! I guess only time will tell.
