The Seattle Seahawks are heading to Super Bowl XLVIII and hits like this contributed to the victory at CenturyLink Field. Granted, the San Francisco 49ers did recover the ball on this play, but the ‘Hawks were able to win the battle of physicality.
Both teams played extremely hard. Both teams suffered a number of crushing hits during the game. In the end, the Seahawks were able to hoist the NFC Championship trophy and start making arrangements for their trip to New York.
And this is why some parents don’t want their kids to play tackle football. Fans of the Seahawks can certainly celebrate the victory, but you hope that LaMichael James doesn’t have any long-term problems from this hit. Ouch.
