Seahawks Prey On The Falcons
Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports
They returned to the power run game and found out it works! During the first half, it was clear that the Darrell Bevell was getting back to run game. Lynch had 10 carries for 67 yards, and the Seahawks rushed for a total of 86 yards in the first half. Last week against the Buccaneers, the Seahawks only rushed for 97 yards the entire game. For the day, Lynch had 24 carries for 145 yards, his third 100+ rushing yard game this season, and the Seahawks rushed a total of 42 times for 211 yards. We can only hope that this wasn’t a fluke and that they have recommitted to their smash-mouth running game.
