Lessons from the Seahawks “Win” over the Buccaneers
Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports
Penalties are killing us. The Seahawks had six penalties called on them against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for 67 yards including two pass interference calls. Granted the call against Earl Thomas was questionable at best but the Seahawks continue to kill their own drives and help their opponents with penalties. Over the first nine games of the season, the Seahawks average 7.9 penalties a game for 72 yards. The team needs to get some discipline immediately.
