Special Teams:

Steven Hauschka continues to be one of the best kickers in the NFL. Haushcka went 4-5 and the miss was the blocked FG that ended up a Colts TD.

Golden Tate and Jermaine Kearse each had opportunities on punt and kickoff returns and did a decent job with no mistakes and no highlight reel plays.

The Seahawks did manage to block a punt that led to the safety, although it’s still being argued whether it was a TD or not.

You can check out the GIF of the safety here and tell us how you think it should have been ruled.

I’m giving the special teams a B- because it really just played average with the exception of the blocked punt. The blocked FG that they then allowed pretty much evens that out, however.

Grade: B-

Coaching:

It’s tough to win on the road in the NFL and the Seahawks have been doing much better than advertised over the past season and a half. Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll and his staff had the run game working on all cylinders and with the fact that the offensive line was missing three starters you can understand why Russell Wilson didn’t have the best game possible in terms of passing the ball.

Next week against the Titans the Seahawks will hopefully have Breno Giacomini and Max Unger back and Percy Harvin just tweeted that he’s ready to play. It’s unlikely that Harvin will suit up against the Titans but this team is 4-1 with some major injuries to Pro Bowl caliber players so the best football is yet to be played.

Grade: C
