Michael Bennett Injury Update:
Bennett is at a Houston hospital and it is being reported that he has full feeling in his entire body. The injury is to Bennett’s lower back.
The Seattle Seahawks trail the Houston Texans 20-3 at halftime.
Seahawks defensive lineman Michael Bennett has been taken off the field on a stretcher after his head and neck snapped back when he hit Texans QB Matt Schaub on the hip while falling down to the field. Hopefully Bennett’s injury isn’t as severe as it originally looked.
The Seahawks offense looks helpless as Russell Wilson has almost no time in the pocket. Wilson has completed just 3 of 5 passes for 31 yards at halftime.
Marshawn Lynch has 60 yards on 7 carries thanks to a 43-yard run in which Beastmode demolished multiple defenders. Offensively that has been the only bright spot.
Texans QB Matt Schaub already has 226 passing yards and two touchdowns with Arian Foster and Ben Tate contributing nearly 100 combined yards rushing.
It’s obvious the Seahawks are missing three of their starting offensive lineman. Russell Okung, Max Unger and Breno Giacomini are all out due to injury and the Texans front seven is in the Seahawks backfield on nearly every snap.
