Seahawks vs. Jaguars Injury Update

Last week the Seahawks had ten players on the injury report. This week that’s down to nine. The top names still remain and have even added a new one. Russell Okung’s toe injury is more severe than originally thought, although he should still recover in time to play this season. Just don’t expect him to play against the Jaguars.
Chris Clemons was active in all of last week’s practices but didn’t make an appearance against the 49ers. With one more full week of practicing he may see some action against the Jaguars, but it would be wise to sit him out for at least another week since this weeks matchup shouldn’t cause too much of a problem for the NFL’s top scoring defense.
Surprisingly, the Seahawks top defense has also come without cornerback BrandonBrowner. In his absence, Walter Thurmond has show he’s more than a capable replacement until the physical Browner returns. Wednesday was the first practice he’s participated in during the regular season, though he was limited.
No team wants to have such talented players on the injured list but if it must happen, this is the week you’d like for it to be. After the Jaguars, the Seahawks travel to Texas to face… the Texans. They’ll need to be healthy as they’ll be one of their tougher opponents this season.
