3. Brad Miller – SS

After lighting the Pacific Coast League on fire to start 2013 by batting .356 in 26 games at Tacoma, the Mariners felt that it was unquestionably time to bring up their second round pick from the 2011 draft and make him their everyday shortstop.  Miller has a nice combination of power and quickness that makes for him to be the ideal leadoff man for the Mariners in the future if he can further develop his eye at the plate, having taken only 22 walks in 296 plate appearances.  For a young kid who has only been in the bigs for two and a half months, the amount of potential shown in such a short period of time leaves Mariner fans clamoring for more.
