Eric Wedge’s Time with the Mariners Done?

For months Mariners general manager, Jack Zduriencik, has been saying that Eric Wedge would be back for another season with the Mariners.

Now, reports are coming out that it may not be the case at all.

Let’s flash back to March. If I told you back then that the Mariners would be this far back of first place, would you have thought that Wedge and even Zduriencik would still be with the team at the end of the season?

And maybe Zduriencik has every intention of bringing Wedge back for one more year. But what if upper management doesn’t plan on having either of them back?
