Golden Tate
2013 Projection: 1,100 yards receiving, 10 TD’s
ESPN and most of America either didn’t care or had no clue who Golden Tate was last season until the Green Bay Packer game in Seattle. The touchdownception (which the more you look at it really was a touchdown) changed all that.
After this season it’ll be for more than that one play. Golden Tate isn’t a burner who can line up on the outside and speed past every NFL corner. Tate is the Wes Welker model of receiver, and we see how valuable Welker had been to the Patriots, and currently is for the Broncos.
Sidney Rice is the big name wideout along with the injured Percy Harvin, but I think Tate will have the most production and be a breakout star in 2013. Tate is a free agent at the end of the season.
