As Seattle Sounders FC prepare to host the Columbus Crew at CenturyLink Field, we take a look at three factors which could decide the outcome.

Heading into Colorado last weekend, things were finally looking good for Seattle Sounders FC. Slowly but surely, they were turning things around after recovering from the worst start in MLS franchise history.

Unfortunately, what followed was, as Sounders head coach Sigi Schmid himself described “our worst game of the season”. By the end, they had conceded a season-high three goals on the way to a demoralizing 3-1 loss against the Rapids.

Next up, Seattle will attempt to bounce back against a Columbus Crew side which is also off to a poor start this season. We consider three keys, which will go some way towards determining the result of this clash.
