For those who have been wanting to hear what it sounds like when Marshawn Lynch speaks, this is for you.

The understated runningback makes his first public appearance in what is sure to be a career-altering off-season. Conflicting reports continue to surface on the issue, some saying the Seattle Seahawks have offered Lynch a massive contract that he is likely accept, and others saying they haven’t.

We will have to see what happens with Marshawn Lynch over the course of the next couple of months. But whatever happens with him, he will always do what he wants to do, and he won’t be anyone but himself.

Here is the text.

"“Now this is out of my mouth. I’m doing my thing, representin’ y’all. I remember you m———. But I need to…. remember you m————.  You understand me? You know what I’m talking about? I been losing too many of y’all but I love representin’ where I’m from on the national m———– stage, to be able to give y’all something to represent. But I NEED y’all m———– here for me TO represent doe. I’m talking to everybody out there, straight up. Like this n—— Fau say, if you got funk or not doe, let that sh–die, but let yo young n—–, who really out mobbin’, doing what the f— they doing, let them know that. N—– we need to be here for each other. So when we got somebody FROM here, REPPIN’ this m———, we still here for this m———–. That’s on the town though, n—— straight up.”"

What do you guys think?

This isn’t exactly my forte, but you can’t fault a guy for being real, and taking on a real issue. It seems like he is pleading for everyone in Oakland to stop the violence and support each other. It’s possible to fault the delivery, but good on Marshawn for wanting Oakland to be a better place.
