Seattle Seahawks Trade Rumors: Vincent Jackson

Tampa is getting “a ton” of inquiries about the 6’5″ wide out according to Ian Rapoport. One would have to assume that Jon Schneider is on the other end of one of those phone calls.

Seattle is in desperate need of a red zone target. Jermaine Kearse and Doug Baldwin are both serviceable receivers, but both struggle at times to create separation. With V-Jack, separation is never an issue. His size makes it possible to throw him open, even if he is being blanketed. He is among the best high-pointers in the NFL.

Tampa has other talented young pass-catchers in 2014 first round pick Mike Evans and 2014 second round pick Austin Sefarian-Jenkins (shout out to Gig Harbor!).

They also would love to acquire some draft ammunition after they gave up a mid-round pick for Logan Mankins.
