In what has been a turnaround year for the Seattle Mariners, the 34-32 team will host the Texas Rangers for three games at Safeco Field this weekend.  The Mariners schedule has the two teams meeting this weekend for the fourth time this season. The teams will meet two more times in the regular season in late August and early September. As the series begins tonight, the Rangers will hope to regain composure and hit the .500 mark after going 32-34 through their first 66 games this season.The Texas Rangers schedule has the team enduring three west coast series over the next week as they play the A’s and Angels following their weekend bout with the Mariners. While Mariners tickets have seen a season average of $64.39, two of the three weekend games against the Rangers will see below average prices and the series as a whole is 20% below average.

6/13 – Nick Tepesch vs Felix Hernandez | Avg. Price: $38 | Get-in Price: $13

The series begins tonight when Mariners ace Felix Hernandez takes the mound against the Rangers’ Nick Tepesch. The average price for Mariners vs Rangers tickets for tonight’s game is $38, the lowest of the series and 41% below season average, with a get-in price of $13, also the lowest of the season. King Felix has been superb this season, posting an 8-1 record and 2.39 ERA over 98 innings in 14 starts. Tepesch hasn’t been as effective, going 2-2 with a 4.91 ERA in five starts this season.

6/14 – Joe Saunders vs Erasmo Ramirez | Avg. Price: $51.66 | Get-in Price: $15

The second game will see the Mariners’ Erasmo Ramirez pitch against Rangers righty Joe Saunders. The average price for June 14 Mariners vs Rangers tickets is $51.66, 19.77% below season average, with a get-in price of $15. The first 20,000 fans will also receive a Felix Hernandez train car upon entering the stadium. Ramirez has had an awful half to his season, posting just a 1-4 record and 5.97 ERA in eight starts. Saunders hasn’t been able to record a win this season as he’s gone just 0-2 with a 3.60 ERA in four starts.

6/15 – Nick Martinez vs Hisashi Iwakuma | Avg. Price: $64.96 | Get-in Price: $20

The finale of the series has the Mariners’ Japanese-born pitcher Hisashi Iwakuma facing the Rangers’ Nick Martinez. Average price for the final game on June 15 is $64.96, the only game above season average, with a get-in price of $20. As a Father’s Day promotion, the first 10,000 dads will receive a Mariners BBQ spatula. Iwakuma, the former All-Star, has gone 4-3 with a 2.79 ERA. Martinez hasn’t found as much success as he’s pitched to a 4.63 ERA and 1-3 record.
