The Seattle Seahawks are heading to the NFC Championship game and it will be played at CenturyLink Field in the Emerald City. That much is certain. Needless the say, the fans cannot wait. Two more wins, and the Lombardi Trophy will be raised by the Seahawks.

Seattle’s opponent will be known shortly, after the San Francisco 49ers face the Carolina Panthers on the east coast. Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch will be facing Colin Kaepernick or Cam Newton. Does the phrase “pick your poison” come to mind?

More importantly, the Seahawks will be facing a great defense, no matter which team travels to Seattle. After the Seahawks struggled to score in the second half against the Saints, there has to be some concern that Seattle may have a hard time finding the end zone next week.

Who is the more desirable opponent for the Seahawks? The battle-hardened, division-rival 49ers? Or, the up-and-coming Panthers?

We did this poll recently, and it was interesting to see how balanced the responses were to the question:

Who would you rather face?
