The Seattle Seahawks could very easily have been playing the San Francisco 49ers next weekend. Instead, they will be hosting the New Orleans Saints, a team that the Seahawks defeated easily in Week 13 by a score of 34-7.

Fans are hoping for a similar outcome next Saturday.

There are no easy opponents in the NFL playoffs and the ‘Hawks cannot look beyond the Saints. Despite the power of the CenturyLink Field crowd and the result of the game this season, the Saints can still win this game. The Seahawks should be able to handle Drew Brees and company, but anything is possible in this league.

Looking ahead is only natural, even if athletes will consistently talk about taking it one game at a time. As fans, is there any harm in looking a bit farther down the road and wonderful what might happen in the future? I think not.

Therefore, if Russell Wilson can lead the Seahawks to victory next week, who would you like for Seattle to host next? Or does it truly not matter?
