#2: Marshawn Lynch. What can I say about our Beast that hasn’t already been said? If Sherman is the personality of our team then he is the physical expression of this team. A no-nonsense approach to beating the other team. It is hard to believe that this is just his 7th season and we were able to get him for a 4th round and a conditional draft pick, not a bad investment. He is one of the few people on the earth, I am sure, that can say he spurred seismic activity…maybe we can rename him Beastquake. Seriously though, I can’t imagine another running back that I would rather have than our bruising running back. He would rather run over you than around you, after all the shortest distance between him and the end zone is a straight line…and you may happen to be in his way. It’s simple math. And much like Sherman, teams have to account for his presence on the field and defensively scheme against what he brings to the table. Long live the beast.
