________

The Seahawks are away from the comfortable confines of CenturyLink for this matchup against the Cardinals and even with their improved road play over the past season and a half, this is a game the Seahawks can not take lightly if they truly plan on making a run to the Super Bowl.

It’s only been four days since the Seahawks beat a weak Titans team at home in what turned out to be a closer game than it should have been. The Cardinals are a dangerous team, especially at home, and the Seahawks will be missing a few key lineman.

Chris Clemons likely wont see the field because of an elbow injury and tackle Breno Giacomini is still recovering from a serious knee injury. Linebacker Bobby Wagner is also out (ankle).

The Seahawks do have a fully healthy Legion of Boom that gets to face Carson Palmer, a quarterback who loves to make risky passes.

With both teams playing on just four days rest, expect a low scoring game, unlike the 58-0 whooping the Seahawks handed the Cardinals at the end of last season.

Seattle opened up a 6.5 favorite at the beginning of the week but the spread moved closer to 4.5 as the week progressed. The Cardinals are 7-1 against the spread when facing the Seahawks in Arizona, as odds sites are reporting. A full betting recap can be found here.

Ok guys. Game on. What do the Hawks do on offense?

  • http://emaraldcityswagger.com/ Paul Novak

Wow. Rice was wide open on that td.

  • http://emaraldcityswagger.com/ Paul Novak

Beautiful INT there on the deflection. Earl is everywhere

  • Rob Shumate

I’ll be honest these Seahawks look a bit different today, in a good way

    • http://emaraldcityswagger.com/ Paul Novak

      They look more… Offensive

      • Rob Shumate

That is exactly what I was alluding to

  • Rob Shumate

Not sure I agree with ‘inadvertent’ tangling of the feet. On a side note, nice seeing them taking some shots downfield.

    • http://emaraldcityswagger.com/ Paul Novak

My thoughts exactly. Rice has been getting hated on here the past few weeks.

  • Rob Shumate

Good to have Miller out there, oh and nice catch. Shout out to the offensive line so far, keep it up boys.

  • http://emaraldcityswagger.com/ Paul Novak

Miller can be such a weapon if they use him correctly.

  • Rob Shumate

How many times will you see Seattle get stopped three times with 1 yard to go?

    • http://emaraldcityswagger.com/ Paul Novak

      With those playcalls? A lot.

      • Rob Shumate

Agreed! lack of variety on that series

  • Rob Shumate

    Browner is playing nicely tonight

  • http://emaraldcityswagger.com/ Paul Novak

    Well damn.

  • http://emaraldcityswagger.com/ Paul Novak

    Wilson fumble. AZ 7 points.

  • Rob Shumate

Pathetic! And the momentum has changed.

  • http://emaraldcityswagger.com/ Paul Novak

    That is a catch!

  • Rob Shumate

Good thing the announcers aren’t on the field refereeing, they are blind

  • Todd Pheifer

What is it with the Seahawks and fumbles in the last few games?

    • http://emaraldcityswagger.com/ Paul Novak

      Right?!

  • Todd Pheifer

When you look at the stats, the Cardinals have no business being in this game.

  • Rob Shumate

Refs just took 6 points away from my fantasy team. Good to see the beast on the field again.

  • Rob Shumate

Love how Browner hid behind the receiver until the ball was thrown then popped out to make the pick

    • http://emaraldcityswagger.com/ Paul Novak

Very nice to see. Funny he couldn’t make it all the way.

  • Todd Pheifer

    31-13. Just like I predicted!

    • http://emaraldcityswagger.com/ Paul Novak

      It’s early buddy

      • Todd Pheifer

True. I will be happy if I am wrong and the ‘Hawks pile on more points. 13 for the Cards is a good number though.

  • http://emaraldcityswagger.com/ Paul Novak

Seahawks are 6-1 for the very first time. I love it!
