In the Seahawks’ preseason game last Thursday against the San Diego Chargers there were a number of standout performers, including, but not limited to, Benson Mayowa, O’Brien Schofield, Stephen Williams, Tarvaris Jackson, Chris Maragos, Byron Maxwell, and Christine Michael. But Alvin Bailey’s work at the left tackle really stood out, and most of the knowledgeable folks I follow who were watching the game were quick to agree.

Bailey was signed as an undrafted free agent before this season after playing at the University of Arkansas, where he was a second-team All-SEC selection. He started every game of his career for the Razorbacks.

I, for one, will be very happy to have such a skilled player available if Russell Okung struggles with injuries again this year. Below, I’ve also compiled all of Bailey’s plays from Thursday, so you can make up your own mind about his ability.

(Bailey is number 78 and played only left tackle in this game.)
